As the name suggests, facial balancing focuses on key areas of the face to re-balance. Those areas include the cheeks (apple and cheekbone), jowl area, jawline, chin and pyriform aperture. We use the least amount possible of hyaluronic acid-based filler in those areas to harmonize the face. It’s great to help the face replace lost volume as we age or to help harmonize your features. The benefits are similar to that of a facelift (minus the scalpel).

You will see some immediate improvements after your treatment, but you’ll get full results about three weeks later. The filler stimulates collagen production and other compounds in your skin to help rejuvenate, smooth lines, and give you youthful volume (without puffiness).

If you’ve ever had dermal fillers before, you can expect the same feeling. If you haven’t the feeling is like a small prick. Most of our clients experience minimal discomfort during their treatment.

All treatments use at least 3 syringes, however, the final amount of filler will vary depending on your face and goals. Usually, only one session is required, but if you have extreme volume loss you may need two sessions to start. If this is the case, we recommend you start with a collagen-stimulating treatment like Sculptra before doing facial balancing. Like any other treatment with us, we’ll start with a consultation where we’ll assess your face and make recommendations.

Once we achieve your goals, we recommend you come back once a year for maintenance.

You can get it done at the same time as Botox, but it should be done after Sculptra. Consider Sculptra as the foundation of your skin. It improves skin quality and tightens it, so facial balancing should come next.
